What has School of Rock Mining been up to in the first half of the year?

Although we are experiencing a global pandemic, I've been travelling extensively this year (and survived countless Covid tests). My traveling has been restricted to Southern Africa. There's been exciting new projects in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Between Gold, Iron ore, Manganese and Platinum it's been a busy year so far. Request from clients ranged between block modelling and up-blocking, pit optimisations, mine designs, mine schedules, and Haulsim simulations. Internationally I presented online courses in Mining Economics to mining engineers.

It is interesting how a career in mine planning can take you to exotic destinations right over the world. We mapped out the countries where School of Rock has been or done work for since the business opened in 2016.
